This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach in a Houston ISD school, LES. This year has been very stressful with all the changes from the state takeover. The attendance has been great for my students because of the calming area I provide for the students and staff daily. The peapod, the cat, and the dog that breathes will help with soothing the students when they are anxious. The other items are for fighting and chewing on instead of their clothes. I love the students at LES because they accept me, even though I do not speak Spanish.
