This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
We are in a high immigrant area in Hialeah and a large percentage of our students are from Hispanic backgrounds. Many of my students are ELL students that are still learning English. I strive to maximize each opportunity they have.
My students are kind, caring, helpful, and always eager to learn.
When my students are engaged with reading and writing, they produce their best work. I want to be able to give my students the materials that they deserve and that they need to be successful.
My Project
The power strip, multi port splitter, and external hard drive will be used altogether to be able to save student work and share with their parents and classmates, in addition to being able to save them for school records and grades.
Color printing/scanning will help make learning fun!
Through the use of a printer/scanner, I will be able to collaborate with my students on a tangible project that can be mailed to them in order to increase the sense of community within our virtual classroom. This would allow them to use technology and printed visual aids to increase their depth of understanding of new material.
