My Students

Students learn best when they learn from each other. My enthusiastic fourth graders love to share their work! With a classroom scanner, we will be able to project student work onto the Promethean board to share with classmates!

The 9 and 10 year old students in my classroom come from diverse cultural and economic backgrounds, reflecting the vibrant neighborhood around our school.

Nothing brings out my students' excitement like sharing work and collaborating with their friends!

My Project

A scanner/printer will allow me to project student work, such as stories, essays, and math solutions, onto our classroom Promethean board. This way, I can show the class examples of how they and their classmates are implementing our daily instruction. My students will learn to evaluate, to give and accept feedback, and to revise and edit. Everyone in our classroom will be able to see the draft being discussed, and students will be engaged because the instruction will be based on "real life" student work, rather than examples from a text book.

With a scanner/printer, I can immediately adapt and differentiate instruction by using the students' own work to deepen student understanding and engagement.

I will also be able to print examples of student work. Students will be motivated and excited by seeing their work "on the big screen".
