My students need a HP scanner to scan their pictures for bookmaking.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Goode's classroom raised $199

My Students
One of the unique projects that we provide for the students in our second grade classroom is bookmaking. We help the students create ideas for stories and then edit their stories. When they have completed the editing process we have them publish their books.
Currently we use computer images to illustrate their stories.
It would be a much better display of their abilities to include their own hand drawn illustrations. We will be able to include their illustrations by the use of an HP scanner. We will publish our stories and then illustrate them with the students own artwork. We will scan the images the students create to complete the stories.
My Project
This project gets the students very excited about writing. Many times we write and the students just write enough to get the assignment completed. When we change the purpose of their writing and make them published authors every student gives us their personal best. As a student I wrote and published a story. Twenty years later I still have my book. I can not wait to share it with my own children and excite them about writing.
As a student I am sure you remember the project that excited you and made learning fun.
Everyone who was given those opportunities has those special memories that made their education special. I want to get the most out of my students by giving them unique experiences. I want to make them feel special by providing them with a published piece of work. Please help my authors by funding our project.
