This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am a Reading Intervention teacher at a Title I school and I work with K-6 small reading groups. The students I work with are the sweetest. They are hardworking, diligent and eager for more reading support.
My students love learning in a hands-on way.
I am asking for reading materials to provide them an engaging hands-on reading environment. I would like to make blending boxes for my students so I am asking for pencil boxes, pop its, dry erase markers, and dabbers. I also would like to make an ABC board for each student to use, so I am asking for sets of magnetic letters and magnetic cookie sheets. I also would like ABC and phonics flashcards, stickers, and colorful page protectors.
I am hoping these donations will excite my students and make reading time more fun!
