This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our students are kind, creative, and curious! The students in this class have all elected to be a part of this yearbook elective and are excited to capture and document all the milestones of our school year for the whole student body!
The students in this class are eager for hands-on learning experiences to put their creative eye to the test!
This group consists of predominantly low-income students who have aspirations for careers in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. They can't wait to be a part of the next wave of documentarians, journalists, and photographers!
My Project
Our yearbook club is getting an early start on next year's issue! This year, we were hindered by a need for digital equipment and that's where we need your help!
This professional grade camera will help our students capture all the big moments of the year while inspiring a new generation of photographers, editors, documentarians, and journalists!
In addition, the photos captured will be used for developing a quality yearbook, advertisements for student lead events, and capturing all the big moments as we close out the school year. This includes capturing special moments at our end of year field trips, celebratory potlucks, and our 8th grade promotion!
