Help me give my students a new camera for yearbook class to ensure each student has equipment to photograph school events!

My Project

Our yearbook staff is made up of creative, dedicated students who are passionate about telling the story of our school year—one photo at a time. They work hard to capture moments that matter: the quiet pride of academic achievement, the energy of pep rallies, the joy of friendships, and the spirit that makes our school unique.

Right now, we’re limited by the number of cameras we have, which means only a few students can photograph events at a time.

With a new camera, more students will have the opportunity to get behind the lens, build photography skills, and take ownership of how our school memories are documented. It will also allow us to cover more events, from sports and performances to club meetings and everyday campus life, giving all students a chance to see themselves represented in the yearbook.

I love that my students are leaders, storytellers, and artists. They are constantly looking for new ways to improve, to support one another, and to make sure every student feels seen. This camera will not only be a tool for learning technical photography skills—it will be a gateway for students to explore storytelling, responsibility, and creativity in a real-world context.

With your help, we can give more students the chance to develop their voice through visual storytelling and ensure this year’s memories are captured from every angle.
