This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a special education teacher at a 5th and 6th grade campus. Our school has started a school wide Positive Behavior Initiative this year with Panther Bucks. Our students work on academic goals and behavior goals to earn Panther Bucks that they get to spend at our monthly Panther Store. The Panther Bucks have really given all our students something to work towards. Plus, they’re getting financial literacy skills of earning, saving, and spending money (actually having to count out bills).

At our Panther Store, the Squishmallows have been the one of the top three selling items.

We need more Squishmallows to stock the store. Can you help us restock, please?
