Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My school is a Zero Waste School. In our efforts to reduce plastic waste I would like to give each of our 8th grade students an aluminum reusable water bottle. The reduction of plastic waste lowers carbon emissions and minimizes the amount of plastic that ends up in our oceans and landfills.
Giving the students a water bottle empowers them to make a difference one water bottle refill at a time!
They can use these reusable water bottles throughout the day and at lunch, especially on our plastic free lunch days.
