Help me give my students a worm bin in order to learn about recycling

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach 60 students math and science. Having a worm kit will help my students learn about ecosystems and microorganisms. This project aims to teach my students the importance of composting and recycling food waste. It is also important for my students to be able to see the habitat of worms and microorganisms that they usually do not notice and how they differ from other animals' habitats.
I teach at a Title One school.
All of my students receive free lunch. I have a diverse classroom of students. Most of my students do know about recycling and composting. I would like to teach them various ways of helping the earth and providing positive soil health, so we can put our compost soil back into our school garden.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
