This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students live in a high poverty area in New York.
The class consists of general education and special education students.
They love to write and dance. Students have limited exposure to experiences that excite, motivate and inspire them. With budget cuts in education, they are deprived of basic resources.
My Project
My students need dry erase boards to use everyday during classwork. We utilize dry erase boards to save on printing and paper. My students use these dry erase boards everyday for various work. The smallest things can make the biggest difference in the lives of my students. The pride and self-confidence that this can build is invaluable.
With your help, my students will have a much-needed resource that will make a lasting impact in their education.
Thank you so much for your generous donation and for caring about our education.
