This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am requesting carbon monoxide detectors for our students to take home with them. Many of our students do not know the dangers of carbon monoxide or even what it is. A couple years ago, we had a past student of ours perish due to carbon monoxide poisoning. By getting these carbon monoxide detectors into our students' homes, we are hoping that this will never happen to another one of our students again.
Your donation to providing our students with carbon monoxide detectors will literally be a lifesaver.
Along with these carbon monoxide detectors, we are hoping to provide our students with educational materials and an assembly to explain to students the dangers of carbon monoxide.
