This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students this year are enthusiastic about learning and literacy. We would love a new classroom library with books to help us get our read on. Our classroom theme this year is Brillant Butterflies where we will "Get Our Wings" through reading and literacy.

My Project

All students will benefit from using dry erase boards. We can practice as a group, answer questions, take classroom polls, and so much more with these boards. We would also like to have easel paper for anchor charts. Anchor charts are used to help students refer back to how to solve math problems, reading in context, write sentences, and so much more. These anchor charts will be added to the classroom wall after each lesson for students to reference throughout the year as we build upon learning new concepts.
