My Project

I am a second grade teacher at a school in Imperial, Missouri, that is currently under construction. That means we will have no playground until after Halloween.

Students will have recess in the classroom or on an empty soccer field.

If students aren't engaged during recess, they aren't engaged during lessons later in the day. These games, balls, and activities will help my students to find engaging materials to use for recess that will help them move their bodies, make friends, and help develop their gross motor skills.

I want to help give my students items to play with while at recess without a playground! We can do that with your help! I am asking for a ball assortment, flying discs, sidewalk chalk, jump ropes, large dominos, and tic tac toe to help keep them busy!
