This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My 2nd grade math and science classroom is full of fun and interactive lessons. We use math manipulatives and exciting math games daily. My students love math and enjoy it even more through engaging activities.
My classroom is full of sweet, hard working students.
They learn best through fun hands-on experiences. Through a different approach, other than the typical paper/pencil lessons, students will be more excited and eager to learn! I hope to reach all of my students' learning styles by giving them an alternate way to communicate proficiency and understanding of concepts.
My Project
My students will use the whiteboards and markers in our science and math lessons. Students will use the materials for problem solving, games, quick lesson check points, and many other engaging activities. We can put our notebooks away and dive into the content!
The students in my classroom will be more engaged and definitely excited about participating in their education.
Students who struggle with the paper/pencil method of communication will now have an alternative method.
