This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach at a school located in the heart of San Diego. 100% of our student population receives free lunch. My students are some of the most amazing students that you will ever meet. They are from all over the world. Many came to this country to escape hardships in their countries. My students want to learn so badly and I will stop at nothing to provide them with the best education that I possibly can.
Every donation you make to our class helps make it possible for a child to access learning in a way that they may not have gotten otherwise.

My Project
Everyone wants a soft and comfy place to sit while they learn. These seats provide just that. They afford the children a fun and comfortable way to sit, as well as, help to keep students engaged in their learning.
We have one of these seats in our classroom and with 35 students, it takes more than a month to give everyone a turn.
It would be nice to have a few more of these seats to give a larger group of students this flexible seating option. Changing their seat truly makes all of the difference in the world.
