Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

New York State regents exams is just around the corner, and I want to support students with extra practice sessions and test prep on Saturdays. Most students have not attended in the past because they did not have breakfast and I had no means of getting breakfast for all 20 students.

The oats and granola bars will be a good source of nutrition for students when they initially arrive at our Saturday session.

They can munch on the snacks throughout worktime because no one can learn on an empty stomach. Students will use the index cards to make notes for themselves for future reference.

The laptop will be used in addition to our class iPad to support students with research and online practice or watching videos to support their understanding.
