This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Working with students that come from low socio-economic backgrounds can be challenging. Each day our students walk into our classrooms with different stories. Some had breakfast while others are excited to come to school just to grab a snack to eat! The snacks in this project will give me the opportunity to take some stress off my students and families by providing a small snack during the day to keep students alert and ready for learning. Many of my students will only eat while they are at school since resources are scarce at home. Every little bit helps!
