Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
11th Grade SAT Preparation Class in a high needs urban bilingual high school. All students are English language learners and need these books to help prepare for the SAT and college!
Remember the SAT?!?! It was so hard back then! ...It's gotten even harder... Imagine that now you have to take it again, but in your second language!
My class consists of highly motivated, college bound immigrant students who need additional support as they prepare to take the SAT this year. Their success on this test is a critical component to their college admissions. Most of my students immigrated to this country in the hopes of higher education and you can help them acheive their dreams of being the first in their families to attend college by providing the foundation--passing the SAT!
