Help me give my students Christmas-themed STEM projects and books for a fun-filled learning experience.

My Project

I serve 204 gifted and talented students at six different sites in our district. I teach grades kindergarten–8th grade, and all of my students love STEM projects and new books.

Christmas ornament chemistry will be a favorite!

Students will use clear ornaments, acrylic paint, baking soda, vinegar, dish soap and glitter to create a chemical reaction resulting in an original keepsake ornament.

Gumdrops and toothpicks will challenge students to engineer the tallest tree. But it wouldn't be a Christmas Tree without a gift underneath it, so students will need to leave enough space at the bottom for a miniature gift.
