Santa, Please Bring Us Scooters!

My students need six turbo scooters for gym class games, activities and relays.

My Students

My students are inner city students. I service students from Kindergarten through the eighth grade. We also have a preschool classroom within our school. Many of my students live in the neighborhood and walk to school. Our school services a large student population both before and after school.

As a result, there are students who are in school as early as 6 AM and as late as 6 PM.

All of my students are eligible to receive the school breakfast and lunch for free.

My Project

My school does not have enough scooters for everyone in a class. With the addition of a few additional scooters everyone in the class can play in the games and activities so that no child has to sub out! Hopefully Santa will surprise my students with a set of scooters so every child will have a scooter to ride one!

I teach in a K-8 school so the variety of activities I teach are numerous.

I teach a lot of activities with the lower grade students that utilize scooters. Students will be able to use the scooters in scooter soccer, scooter hockey, team relays and obstacle course challenges. This will also help me maximize participation. Less down time means more activity time! I know that my students will absolutely love the additional scooters!
