My Students
I am a media specialist at a small, rural, Title I School in South Carolina, where eighty-three percent of students are on free or reduced-price lunch.
Our school population is made up of approximately 400 students.
They enjoy learning, reading and being open to creativity.
My Project
With the rapid spread of Covid-19 in our country, it is important to make as many safety precautions in our school's media center as possible. A hands free sanitizing station is the media center will be helpful when to students enter and exit the media center to sanitize their hands. A air purifier will help circulate clean air in the media center which is another safety precaution for our students. It is my goal and duty to make the school's media center as safe as I possibly can for our students.
