Sandy Flooded Our School

My students need supplies for the classroom, like pencils, alphabet practice cards, paint, activity balls, shapes and tiles, glue sticks, etc. Our classroom was recently flooded by Hurricane Sandy and many of our supplies had to be thrown away. Please help Us!

My Students

Our class had to be relocated to a new building. We want to make this room as comfortable and exciting as our old room. We have lost many of the materials that we have been enjoying during the first two months of school. Help us by giving us some of our favorite things!

The children are 3 and 4 years old.

They have been going to school for the first time over the past two months. They have been forced out of their homes and classroom because of Hurricane Sandy. Many of the materials that we had in the classroom have been destroyed. These children come from low income families and are going to have a difficult time recovering from the loss.

My Project

The children will be able to use the art supplies to continue to develop writing skills. We have requested various manipulatives to help them to improve math skills as well as fine motor skills. They will be having fun while learning new skills. I look forward to seeing them smile again.

By giving us these much needed supplies, you will be bringing smiles back on the faces of these children.

They have been through a very difficult and scary storm and have lost a lot. Please help these children to continue to enjoy learning and going to school.
