Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am blessed to have 36 inner-city scholars who are eager to teach and develop into lifelong learners. My students are future teachers, scientists, police officers, politicians, doctors, firemen, and lawyers.
The beginning of their lives starts today.
My scholars are located in a low social-economic urban area. However, this does not hinder these students, it only makes them more determined to become successful contributors to our society and the community in which they live. They are the future of America.
My Project
These robots and cars will allow my students to learn the importance of learning about other cultures around the world. Students will take virtual field trips around the world to discover new and interesting people. When students are given the opportunity to learn and explore different cultures, it makes them learn about different cultures' ways of life. This also will allow each of the students to appreciate their own culture in return. Hopefully, allowing my students to explore other cultures will illuminate a lot of the hate which is displayed in today’s society.
