Sandbox Accessories Needed for Fun and Imagination!

Help me give my students a great sandbox area on our school playground! The outdoor storage will hold all the sand toys.

My Students

The elementary students at Mercer School are smart, fun children who enjoy learning but also enjoy recess time. We are a small school with small classes and the students grow up knowing each other really well. The teachers are able to work one on one with students and get to know each one as an individual. We are like a family!

My Project

Young children learn best through play! I would like our school playground to have a dedicated sandbox area with lots of sand toys to have fun with and use their imaginations.

Playing with sand is an art form and it is a good sensory activity also.

Seeing sand form into the same image that is on a toy is exciting for children. Recess is an important part of young childrens' school day and the sandbox area will be an important part of the playground.
