My Project
My new class of kinders are so excited to learn this year. I have been trained to use the Orton-Gillingham Method of Instruction with struggling readers and writers. It truly works when trying to help students who struggle with letter retention and forming proper letter formation. I am requesting sand trays because this program is all about hands-on learning in a multi-sensory way.
Sand letter writing will make learning letters fun and promote letter name recognition, handwriting skills, and make learning more memorable and less stressful for young learners.
We need sand trays with lids to store sand so students can practice writing their letters and letter sounds! These sand trays will be the perfect size and height to make our learning a successful experience. Thank you so much for supporting our project and our classroom.
