This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am a Pre-K Teacher and I have 15 students. Our school is located in a very diverse area in New Jersey.
My students are eager to learn every day, and I want to provide more materials for them to use including items that may not always be available in their own homes.
My students are fun, creative, and explorative kids. They love new materials and learning from each other. They will all be very grateful for any donations received.
My Project
This project will assist my classroom with our upcoming study - Sand Study. My classroom follows the Creative Curriculum where students focus on a study and investigate all about it.
This project will assist with investigating about sand and will provide hands-on activities.
The items in this project consist of sand, sand tools, and read alouds for me to read to my students. With the little resources that I have, this project will allow me to provide more resources for my students. My students are excited to learn about sand and dive deep in learning more. This project will assist with that.
