My Students
We are a class of movers and shakers! We love to dance sing and explore the world around us. Many of us come from low income families and did not attend preschool, but our desire to be the best isn't lost. We may not have the foundational skills, but it hasn't stopped us from doing everything we can and never giving up.
It doesn't matter what you look like, where you come from, or your circumstances.
All of us are bright, creative and deserve the best opportunity to learn. We are determined to succeed. With help, our hope for the future is brighter than what's outside our windows. We can change the world. With help, hope doesn't have to be lost. All we need is you.
My Project
Technology is no longer the future. From smart phones to smart TV's, it's inescapable. In the classroom it has the limitless possibility of transforming the students' learning world. More than drag and drop and point and click, Osmo literally puts the tools for success in the palm of students' hands.
Tell me, I'll forget.
Show me, I'll make mistakes. Involve me and I'll remember always. I am requesting the Osmo gaming system for my students to allow them the opportunity to learn reading, math, and problem solving skills in a hands-on, interactive way. Many of them are struggling with the basics in math and reading and we simply don't have the funds for materials. Your generous donation would give my students the opportunity to develop and sharpen their skills using Osmo activities in various subjects. It will allow us to lay a foundation that all their future learning will skyrocket from.
