My Project
I'm requesting a large stroller that can support my students when transporting due to emergency situations or when out in the community for field trips. My students have high support needs within my special education classroom, and it is necessary to have a way to get my students out of the room to keep them safe in an emergency.
Having equipment to help transport students helps to support the safety of the student as well as the entire classroom because it allows the staff to have quicker response times.
This is also beneficial for community outings because it allows the students to participate in outings such as field trips without putting too much strain on their mobility.
The mess-free coloring kits would be used to allow students to be creative during their breaks. I have several kids who like to color and this would allow them to do so with minimal cleanup for staff.
