Help me give my students an opportunity to play outdoor recess safely by having their own hula hoops and jump ropes and cones to allow social distancing. Students will have their own school supplies to use.
Here at Hilo, Hawaii, my students are excited to return to in-person learning. They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. Truly, they are my inspiration!
All students can learn and succeed, but having the right tools will make a big difference!
Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning, although the method and environment in which they learn best vary greatly. We incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and alternative seating and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are! They are truly an incredible group, and I am so lucky and thankful to have a new group of learners that are excited and ready to learn each year!
My Project
The outdoor materials will be used to allow students to have an opportunity to be able to play outdoors in a safe way by having each child use their own equipment which will prevent the spread of COVID. Being able to play outdoors will allow the students to do physical activities which will increase their learning in the classroom.
The school supplies will allow the students to have their own supplies which will allow them to prevent spreading COVID to other students which will allow them to learn in a safer environment.
