Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are smart, problem solvers, creative explorers, and active listeners. Many of these students have learning disabilities, but they give their best no matter what obstacles they face. These students come from a variety of family structures, academic levels, and socioeconomic levels. Many students at our school are English Language Learners and speak little to no English.

My students face obstacles such as poverty and homelessness.

Although I work in a low-income school, I want to give my students a superior learning environment with all the possible resources to keep them engaged and curious.

I am a 3rd-grade bilingual teacher who teaches all subjects. We are short on many resources and would love to be able to obtain resources beneficial to my lovely students. These kids deserve the world.

My Project

My students have been affected tremendously with Covid-19 as the rest of the world. Many have returned to school for fear of getting sick. The school has done what it can to keep students safe but there is still so much more that can be done to help keep students safe.

If students do not feel safe at school, they will not learn in a positive way and retain information.

It is crucial that we create an environment where students can feel safe and ready to learn. With these wipes, masks, and other materials, students will know that their classroom is safe.
