Safety in Science and Exploring Our School's Cleanliness

My Project

Our students are excited to get back into the science lab after being severely restricted during the past three years of COVID. We are lacking some basic lab safety equipment which can help keep students safe and in class learning.

We are interested in exploring the cleanliness (or lack of) in our school and would like to use the petri dishes and agar, to monitor the amounts of bacteria found in our school's common areas as a year long project.

After COVID, we are looking forward to doing science that has meaning in our everyday lives.
