This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students have so much resilience and determination. Unfortunately, they have been impacted by this national pandemic and learning has been more difficult than ever. They attend an inner-city school in a low-income community where lack of resources places them at disproportionate levels.
My Project
After an exhausting year of Distance Learning, my students are ready to come back to school and engage in learning. Students will explore the science, math, health, and visual arts curriculum by engaging in hands-on learning.
Safety goggles will ensure my students remain safe while they explore the world around them.
They will engage in inquiry and learn about science phenomena and learn how to make sense of math while simultaneously using the visual arts to enhance the learning. By using goggles during their explorations of the different content areas, they will remain safe and continue to use their curiosity to learn new standards.
With your generosity, my students will receive a gift that will last a lifetime.
