My Project
Help me give my students safety glasses and face shield headgear so they can protect their eyes and faces while learning the skills that will shape their futures. Most of my students are Navajo, attending a rural high school where resources for essential PPE are limited. Every welder needs their safety glasses to prevent eye injuries from sparks, metal fragments, and dust. Our face shield headgear must also be replaced, as several have broken and no longer provide proper protection. Your generosity will ensure each student has reliable, personal protection so they can focus on learning, working safely, and building a path toward a successful career.
Why We Need This:
Welding produces sparks, heat, and flying debris that can cause serious eye and face injuries. Every student needs their pair of safety glasses for hygiene and safety, and our face shield headgear must be replaced due to wear and breakage. Our rural school’s budget can’t cover enough PPE for all students, and sharing equipment isn’t safe. Your support will give every welder-in-training the personal protection they need to learn confidently and safely.
