Help me give my students a safe and clean environment to learn at school in person with an automatic soap and sanitizer dispenser, lysol spray and wipes.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our students are inquisitive, bright, and enthusiastic learners. They are interested in learning and staying engaged during our online and in person lessons. Despite the fact that they've been learning remotely due to the pandemic, they are eager to learn . On August 16 students will return to campus.
Unfortunately many families are experiencing unemployment, evictions, COVID-19, and loss of loved ones.
Many students of our community live in small apartments or homes where they live with several families due to the high cost of living. Some families can't afford to buy basic school supplies for their children.
My Project
Students need to feel safe at school. These materials will help us disinfect and sanitize our class. Parents will also feel more reassured that their children are safe at school.
They will be able to focus on learning instead of worrying about viruses.
Having an automatic sanitizer and soap dispenser will ensure that we are staying safe at school. The see-through masks will allow students to see my lips as I pronounce sound, words or dictate sentences for them as they write them on their boards or journals. The use of whiteboards provide a great tool for students to use as they learn in person or at home.
