Help me give my students essential classroom supplies to start the school year off right. The products I am requesting will assist my students in completing their literacy, math and science work in or out of the classroom.
In the school building or virtually, my classroom will be filled with amazing students that are fun, loving, energetic five and six year olds. My Kindergartners face a variety of challenges due to the coronavirus pandemic in the community, at home, and with distance learning. I would like to be able to support their health and safety through this project.
I look forward to working with my fantastic Kindergarten students every year, who have so much spunk and energy and are always ready to learn.
My students come from diverse backgrounds and we work everyday to support each individual student in their journey. We adapt the curriculum to meet the diverse needs of the students and to increase their opportunities to maintain, generalize, and transfer both academic and social skills to other environments. They need individual materials and supplies to stay safe from the spread of germs. It will also develop responsibility and independence as they care for their own materials.
My Project
Through the generosity of the Donors Choose Community, I was able to purchase storage containers for each student in my class. Now it is time, to fill the containers with the writing and art supplies my students need in order to complete learning activities.
With our new norm in school, I want to make sure that all my students have their own essential tools to assist students in their learning.
Each child will have their own set of supplies given to them. Students having their own supplies and whiteboards within their storage containers will be such a helpful tool to push them to participate and illustrate their thought process in a quick and efficient way. My students will be able to keep their supplies safe whether it's at home or in our classroom.
