This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school is a Title I school. The school consist of Pre-K classes through 5th grade. In each of our grades we have one or two general education class and one integrated co-teaching class. Our class is a 1st grade ICT. In our class we have a mix of general and special education students.

In our class we have a variety of different levels, abilities and diversity.

Our schools believes in creating a fun, safe and inspiring learning environment which drives our students to explore and succeed.

My Project

This project is targeted to support our entire student and staff community in the school. With this grant our school will have access to a CPR dummy and will have sufficient walkie-talkies to support student and staff lunch monitors. With the use of the CPR Dummies some staff members and students can be trained in CPR and they will also be able to review the skills that they have been taught. In addition, with the use of the walkie-talkies some student and staff personal will ensure that communication is transmitted so that all students are safe during lunch and recess. This will increase accountability for all safety members within the school building.
