Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Having bandages and ice packs in the classroom is important for ensuring the safety and well-being of students. Minor injuries, such as cuts, scrapes, and bruises, are common in a school setting, and having these basic first-aid supplies readily available allows for immediate care. This helps prevent infections, reduce swellinge, and provide comfort to students, minimizing disruptions to learning. Additionally, quick access to ice packs can help manage pain and inflammation from bumps or falls, allowing students to return to their activities sooner. Being prepared with these supplies also demonstrates a teacher’s commitment to student safety and fosters a supportive classroom environment.
