Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am the luckiest teacher in the world because I get to spend each day with enthusiastic little learners who are eager. They love to learn and find answers to questions.

I work with many students who are English language learners and students with special needs, but they are the hardest workers I know.

My students need a comfortable environment so that they feel at ease and confident each day and are ready to learn.

Many students do not have many books at home. They need classroom books that are engaging to foster a love of learning. These students usually have further to go, but they reach goals because of their effort.

My Project

The 2021-2022 school year proves to be another unprecedented school year. Teachers and staff are thankfully vaccinated, and we are still working to keep our most valuable resource, our children, safe and in the classroom learning.

I need these reusable water bottles, lanyards, and disposable masks to keep safety protocols in place and these kids learning.

Due to COVID-19, our water fountains have been turned off. Sometimes, students forget their water bottles at home. These water bottles will stay in the classroom to ensure students are always hydrated and ready to learn.

Currently, if a student needs a new mask, valuable learning time can be wasted as we wait for the student to return from the nurse. These masks and lanyards will help keep our students masked, safe, and ready to learn.
