This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project will help my new and energetic 3rd graders gain access to comfortable and quality seating in our classroom. I know that this incoming class is much larger than my previous class and has a need for sensory materials and resources to assist with focus and attention. These project materials will hopefully help us ease into our school year and will give the students fun and exciting options. I hope that the sensory strips, fidgets, and chair bands will help my students who need the extra support to stay focused in the classroom. A new wipe-off couch will be a great flexible seating option that will motivate students to do their best work while giving choices and comfortable options in the classroom.
