This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I love teaching 3rd grade. My students are active, engaged & kinesthetic learners. My students learn best when they are able to explore, have diverse opportunities and are comfortable in the classroom. I teach many reading and math groups throughout the school day, which warrants the needs for quality seating at our group table. Help my 3rd graders gain some quality small group table seating that provides comfort and engagement!
My Project
My students join me at my small group table for many reading, math and intervention lessons throughout the day. This warrants the need for quality sturdy and comfortable seating for them. Some of the chairs I’ve had over the years have broken legs or the tops come off when students are working. I want some thing that is functional and students can grab quickly so I can rotate throughout my groups. I am all about choice with my students so I would like a variety of options for them to do their best while in groups.
