My Project
I teach an amazing group of students in a self-contained Special Education classroom. Each of my students has unique learning needs, and many benefit from visual supports, hands-on activities, and repeated practice. They are eager to learn, curious, and thrive with structure and consistency.
Laminating sheets may seem simple, but they are a game-changer in our classroom.
With laminating sheets, I can create durable, reusable learning materials—from visual schedules and communication boards to task cards, behavior charts, and file folder games. These resources are essential for helping my students build independence, understand routines, and master academic and life skills at their own pace.
Many of our materials are used daily, and lamination ensures they last through frequent handling, spills, and wear. Laminated items can also be used with dry-erase markers, allowing us to reuse materials for practice and assessment.
By funding this project, you’ll be helping create a more supportive, accessible, and organized classroom where students with special needs can thrive. Your support will allow me to make individualized resources that stand the test of time—and little hands.
