My Project
Social emotionalrRegulation is so necessary in today's time. Students are able to focus, problem-solve, and communicate more effectively when they are given the time and chance to work on social-emotional skills. My students are all ages, ranging from 4-14, and are coming into their first semi-normal year after a few years learning through the pandemic. The younger we can start implementing these skills, the greater the success for each student. My students are learning about themselves and the world around them, and often meet individually or in small groups to practice skills in order to navigate through life and school.
My students are working on learning how to implement social-emotional regulation through self-efficacy, self-management, and engagement.
In order to provide the space for students to practice these skills, we need comfortable options and tools to allow each student to find the best ways to manage for themselves. Please help me and my students connect mental health, education, and well-being on a daily basis by providing the necessary space and activities to practice these skills.
