Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our PreK kids are adorable. We have 3 and 4 olds who are missing home, learning to share, wait their turn, and experiencing new feelings in a new environment for thr first time. It can be scary. These items will help create a space to nurture their feelings in a safe place and bring home into the classroom.
The games, timer and weighted stuffed animal help to show kids how to control their emotions and calm down, talk through them and name it.
The bean bag and chairs offer flexible seating to help make a warm, comfy environment that feels safe and gived kids choice.
These are critical experiences for kids that have lasting effects so we must be intentional and purposeful with starting their educational journey.
