Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The floor seats I am asking for will provide my students with seating in my office during weekly small group meetings. I work with small groups to encourage students to attend school daily. My goal is to provide a safe and quiet seating space, where students can feel welcomed and are encouraged to come in and share their thoughts, feelings and ideas.
I want students to feel comfortable enough both physically and emotionally.
This seating will contribute to my office becoming a safe space for the students I work with.
