This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As an educator, I pride myself on building high relational capacity in my classroom so students are truly engaging in collaborative learning. At the middle school level, it is so important to teach students how to work together and value individual attributes. When building relational capacity among students, it is important to have a "safe space" for learning. Since I am a Science teacher, the theme for my classroom is "Safe Space," in which I use "space/galaxy/astronauts" as decorations. Students can focus on learning when they feel safe, welcomed, and the environment is a place they enjoy being. Please help me to supply my classroom with basic supplies while also supporting my classroom socially/emotionally.
