This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hi! My students will be able to have a safe space for reflection, meditation and grounding. Bean bag chairs and carpets for their comfort. A standing desk to allow students to use for reflection and independent work completion. They will be able to access the dry erase board to channel their thoughts or complete their classwork. They will be able to write daily affirmations or quotes for others to see.

My main goal is to have students feel safe, comfortable, empowered and welcomed to support their social emotional learning and academics.
