This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our school is one of the many around the nation that is aging and needing improvements. My students come to class each day with a desire to learn and expand their minds. Sadly, we find ourselves thinking of the possibility that tragedy may strike at any time.
These curtains will allow me to create a safe environment that is invisible to outsiders.
The curtains will keep my students unseen in case of a lockdown or lockout if faced with that scary situation. With the addition of the magnets, I can secure the curtains so no person can see into the room.
