My Project
The Therapeutic Learning center is a unique K-5 program providing Special Education services to elementary students. We offer alternative ways to access education, providing each student an individualized education and behavioral plan. We believe building trusting relationships is the foundation for a positive learning experience.
We need help making our classroom a safe and positive place to learn and work through big feelings and emotions.
Soft flexible seating options will be used to meet the diverse needs of all the students in the room while also prioritizing their safety.
Room dividers will be used to offer separate spaces to give students who are struggling the privacy they need to work through the escalation cycle safely while also maintaining their dignity.
