Help me give my students protection when they are eating breakfast/snack/ lunch and need to take their masks off. These clear desk shields will also allow my young learners to have "mask breaks" while still seeing instruction.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Francis's classroom raised $549

My Students
Students at our North Carolina public elementary school come from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
This school year presents a lot of challenges for us as educators and our students.
There are many recommendations on how to proceed in the safest way possible but most of it does not come with supplies or funding.
My Project
My kindergarten students currently have teacher made desk shields to use when they need to take their masks off to eat meals in the classroom.
The shields we are using now are made from cardboard display boards with the front and sides cut out to allow plastic wrap to be stapled in.
Despite all the work put in to make them, these boards are already falling apart after 8 weeks of school.
I am asking for a donation so I can buy my young students sneeze guard clear partitions that are shatterproof and washable.
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
